Job Summary
A company is looking for a Freelance Book Translator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate books from English to German, Italian, French, Spanish, or Portuguese
- Work directly with authors to help them share their stories in a different language
- Deliver error-free translations and potentially assist with copy-editing/proofreading
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of translating experience
- At least 5 published books well-reviewed and available on major platforms for each language pair
- Experience working for a traditional publisher is a plus
- Ability to copy-edit/proofread translations or work with a partner for this task
- Mid-Senior level experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Writing/Editing in Non-profit Organizations or Education
