BPL Appraisal Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the BPL Appraisal Reviewer will ensure appraisal reports meet regulatory and internal standards, collaborate with vendors and appraisers to resolve discrepancies, and provide timely value recommendations.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and analyze appraisal reports to confirm alignment with appraisal methodology and reconcile multiple approaches
• Collaborate with the BPL Appraisal Review team for additional expertise and run analyses on comparable selections
• Ensure vendor compliance and report alignment with Valere's policies, USPAP standards, and applicable regulations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in appraisal review, appraisal processing, and quality control
• Extensive knowledge of appraisal and industry guidelines
• Familiarity with appraisal techniques for various property types, such as multi-unit properties
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
