Business Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the Business Analyst will analyze requirements, develop user stories, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement capabilities for an enterprise financial software system within an Agile product development team.

Key responsibilities:

• Critically review and evaluate business systems and user needs, producing clear user stories and documentation
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to clarify scope and convert business requirements into actionable tasks for the development team
• Lead efforts to produce comprehensive documentation related to system architecture and processes, including functional specifications and user stories

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of experience as a Business Analyst on Agile software development projects
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Solid understanding of the Agile development life cycle and knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, Visio, or equivalent
