Job Summary

To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management, working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market research to identify acquisition opportunities
  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential business partners and manage follow-ups using CRM tools
  • Coordinate introductory calls and maintain accurate records of deal stages, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities to senior team members
Required qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a formal degree
  • Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, with HubSpot preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into concise outputs
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage outreach processes with minimal oversight
