Business Information Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Information Security Officer to oversee cybersecurity and assurance within a designated business unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the security program and the business unit, ensuring compliance with security risk tolerance
• Collaborate with various teams to monitor and report on security compliance and manage security projects
• Promote a strong security culture and ensure cybersecurity is integrated into business processes from the start

Required Qualifications

• BA or BS in Computer Science or a related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience working with business leadership on enterprise projects
• Experience implementing security protocols for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in alignment with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC 2.0
• Experience with Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) risk mitigation
• Must be a United States citizen
