CAD Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of CAD drafters and Engineering Change Management specialists, the full-time salaried CAD Engineering Manager will ensure the timely processing of new product drawings and models while supporting legacy business CAD requirements and driving process improvements in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day assignments of the CAD group and generate performance metrics
• Oversee the Engineering Change Management processes to ensure timely release of documentation
• Collaborate with Product Development to provide necessary tools and support for new products

Required qualifications

• 4-year technical degree (BSME or BSEE preferred) or 10 years of relevant CAD experience
• 5 years of experience managing a CAD team
• Experience with CAD file management in the PDM Solidworks environment
• Knowledge of Engineering Change Management processes and tools
• High level of computer proficiency, including MS Office and Solidworks CAD tools
