California Junior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support software development projects, the full-time California Junior Software Engineer will develop applications using Java, Angular, and React, while writing scalable code and collaborating with team members to achieve sprint goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java 8/JEE, Angular 2+, React.js, and SQL
• Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests while resolving defects in collaboration with testers
• Support continuous improvement by investigating and presenting alternative technologies for architectural review

Required qualifications

• Experience in Java and JavaScript programming languages
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL query skills
• Familiarity with common APIs and data structures
• 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding is preferred
