Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel to serve as a strategic legal advisor and oversee legal, compliance, and risk management functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance to the executive team on strategic initiatives and business operations
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with legal regulations
• Manage risk management processes and oversee litigation and disputes

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active bar membership in good standing in California
• 15+ years of legal experience, preferably in law firm and in-house roles
• Expertise in ecommerce, consumer brands, or subscription-based business models
• Strong understanding of data privacy, intellectual property, and commercial law
• Proven experience managing legal teams and collaborating with C-suite executives
