Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on a range of transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will negotiate agreements, conduct legal research, and assess legal risks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft legal documents related to real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
- Conduct legal research and provide actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders on complex legal issues
- Develop legal strategies to mitigate risks and support business objectives, collaborating with internal and external partners
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Active State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
- Experience in negotiating complex contracts and legal documents
- Advanced knowledge of real estate law and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to manage legal risks and develop strategic solutions
