California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage teams, assist with client onboarding, and handle complex accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teammates while ensuring quality control and professional growth
• Assist with client onboarding and system implementations, collaborating with clients and tax or audit teams
• Perform in-depth financial analysis and manage complex accounting transactions

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
• Active CPA license or educational credentials to sit for the CPA exam; a Master's degree in business or accounting is preferred
• Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting functions
• Experience with ERP systems and platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite
• Knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles
