Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired to provide educational support to students with visual impairments in California.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual, individualized instruction to students with visual impairments
- Create and adapt lesson plans based on the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with parents, classroom teachers, and other professionals to ensure the student's success
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, specializing in Visual Impairments
- Valid California certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience working with students with visual impairments, particularly in virtual environments
- Proficiency in using digital tools and assistive technology in virtual education
