Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coder (Cert) to work remotely and full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare statistical reports and code diseases and operations according to classification systems
- Maintain indices according to established policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with coding procedures and reimbursement systems
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Graduate as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CCS from an approved program
- Minimum of 2 years of coding experience
- Ability to code Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, and ASC charts proficiently
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of ICD 9-CM/CPT coding
- Licensure or certification as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC preferred
