Job Summary
A company is looking for a Professional Fee Auditor - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Completes quality assurance reviews for internal and external professional coding specialists
- Conducts onboarding audits and training for newly hired coding specialists
- Tracks and reports coding accuracy and educational opportunities for coding consultants
Required Qualifications
- Must possess an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential
- Minimum of 4 years coding experience required; specialty experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years auditing experience preferred
- Extensive education and training on 2021 Evaluation and Management guidelines
