Certified ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Multi-Specialty Profee Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for a minimum of 1-4 specialties
• Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels using company algorithms
• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes while adhering to coding guidelines

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
• At least 6 months of on-the-job coding experience is required
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems is necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required
• Must maintain an ongoing productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
