CIIP Certified PACS Administrator
Job Summary
To support a growing network of radiology sites, the part-time CIIP Certified PACS Administrator will serve as the senior technical expert for PACS/RIS, managing system configurations, troubleshooting, and optimizing clinical imaging workflows remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee advanced troubleshooting, system configuration, and DICOM/HL7 integrations across multiple radiology sites
- Manage server administration, SQL databases, and high-availability configurations while ensuring adherence to service level objectives
- Act as the Product Owner for radiology imaging applications, collaborating with stakeholders to define product vision and prioritize enhancements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiology Technology, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field
- CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional) certification required
- 7+ years of PACS administration experience, preferably in multi-site environments
- Hands-on experience with enterprise PACS platforms and HL7 interface engines
- Experience in managing Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) systems and radiology voice dictation systems
