Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist to improve health outcomes through effective clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews to enhance chart documentation
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to improve documentation processes and accuracy
  • Provide education and training on clinical documentation improvement for healthcare providers

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) / Technician (RHIT) certification
  • 2+ years of acute care nursing experience or inpatient coding experience
  • Ability to work onsite for initial training and equipment pickup
  • Must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin
