Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist to improve health outcomes through effective clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews to enhance chart documentation
- Collaborate with clinical departments to improve documentation processes and accuracy
- Provide education and training on clinical documentation improvement for healthcare providers
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) / Technician (RHIT) certification
- 2+ years of acute care nursing experience or inpatient coding experience
- Ability to work onsite for initial training and equipment pickup
- Must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin
