Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Genomic Scientist II - Exome Analysis (REMOTE:USA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret clinical diagnostic testing results and classify variants according to established protocols
- Draft clear and accurate clinical testing reports and summarize relevant medical literature
- Collaborate with team members and provide input for process improvements and training
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in molecular biology, genetics, or related scientific field, or MS in Genetic Counseling or similar field
- At least 2 years of experience in genetics literature review, variant classification, or clinical report drafting
- Strong working knowledge of human genetics and diagnostic genetic testing concepts
- Familiarity with diagnostic testing methodologies, including next-generation sequencing and microarray
- Ongoing knowledge of current theories and principles of human genetics
