Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Genomic Scientist II - Exome Analysis (REMOTE:USA).
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret clinical diagnostic testing results and classify genetic variants
- Draft clear and accurate clinical testing reports
- Provide input on reporting protocols and assist in training new staff
Required Qualifications and Education
- Ph.D. in molecular biology, genetics, or related field, or MS in Genetic Counseling
- At least 2 years of experience in genetic literature review, variant classification, or clinical report drafting
- Strong working knowledge of human genetics and diagnostic genetic testing concepts
- Familiarity with diagnostic testing methodologies, including next-generation sequencing
- Ongoing knowledge of current theories and principles of human genetics
