Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Genomic Scientist II - Exome Analysis (REMOTE:USA).
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret clinical diagnostic testing results and classify genetic variants
- Draft clear and accurate clinical testing reports
- Provide input on reporting protocols and participate in team discussions
Required Qualifications and Education
- Ph.D. in molecular biology, genetics, or related field, or MS in Genetic Counseling or similar field
- At least 2 years of experience in genetics literature review, variant classification, or clinical report drafting
- Strong knowledge of human genetics and diagnostic genetic testing concepts
- Familiarity with next-generation sequencing, Sanger sequencing, microarray, and MLPA methodologies
- Ongoing knowledge of current theories and principles of human genetics
