Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Genomic Scientist II - Exome Reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret diagnostic test results and summarize relevant medical literature
- Conduct variant assessment and classification, and draft clinical testing results
- Collaborate with team members and provide input on reporting protocols and improvements
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in molecular biology, genetics, or related scientific field, or MS in Genetic Counseling or similar fields
- At least 2 years of experience in genetics literature review, variant classification, or clinical report drafting
- Strong working knowledge of human genetics and diagnostic genetic testing concepts
- Familiarity with diagnostic testing methodologies, including next-generation sequencing
- Ongoing knowledge of current theories and principles of human genetics
