Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Genomics Scientist specializing in SNP array/microarray for a remote position in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret clinical diagnostic testing results and apply variant classification guidelines
- Draft clear and accurate clinical testing result reports independently
- Attend trainings and become knowledgeable in relevant information technology systems
Required Qualifications:
- MS in Genetic Counseling, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a similar field
- Thorough knowledge of current theories and principles of human genetics
- Ability to understand and evaluate genetic data and literature
- Working knowledge of human genetics and diagnostic genetic testing concepts
- Familiarity with diagnostic testing methodologies, including microarray and next-generation sequencing is preferred
