Clinical Informatics Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Clinical Informatics Analyst will facilitate the integration of clinical information systems and workflows, serve as a liaison between clinicians and IT, and lead projects to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between clinicians, operational teams, and IT to optimize clinical information systems
• Lead basic to moderately complex projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation
• Conduct analysis of clinical and organizational needs and recommend solutions and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Informatics, Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Epic EHR systems
• Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), including data navigation and interpretation
• Knowledge of clinical workflows in both ambulatory and acute care settings
• Understanding of healthcare data standards and code sets, including SNOMED CT and ICD-9/10
