Cloud Database Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Cloud Database Engineer for a fully remote, direct-hire position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient database systems for cloud environments
- Support cloud-hosted database infrastructure and assist with production issues
- Lead architectural planning and implementation for new projects and database features
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and MSSQL, including knowledge of database internals
- Proven ability to design efficient and scalable database architectures
- Expertise in performance tuning and database optimization techniques
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
- Familiarity with Kubernetes is highly desirable
