Cloud Solutions Architect
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Solutions Architect with expertise in Azure and VMware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the current IT environment and identify requirements for migration to Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
- Plan and execute the upgrade of VMware on-premises to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
- Collaborate with the Global Service Architect (GSA) and Cloud Service Architect (CSA) teams to define the scope of work and identify necessary professional services
Required Qualifications:
- Expertise in Azure, particularly with Microsoft's Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
- Strong knowledge of VMware, including upgrading VMware on-premises to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
- Networking background, which would be beneficial for the role
