Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coding Auditor Educ Spec-Amb.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Federal Coding Documentation Guidelines and official coding policies
- Audit medical record documentation for accuracy and specificity of assigned codes
- Provide coding education to maximize accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of coding experience in an ambulatory setting
- Knowledge of CPT, EM, ICD-10 coding systems
- Experience in researching and resolving complex coding/documentation issues
