Job Summary
A company is looking for a Collections Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts for overdue payments and prioritize collection activities
- Contact customers to collect outstanding payments and document collection efforts
- Report on collection activity and escalate issues to Supervisor
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of business-to-business collections experience
- Familiarity with laws related to debt collection
- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
- Associate degree or related college courses helpful
