College Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time College Counselor to work with high school students in the college admissions process.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one virtual counseling to junior and senior students to assist in college selection and application
• Complete initial paid training and participate in ongoing professional development
• Manage a small caseload of students, with flexibility in hours based on availability

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a former admissions officer or college counselor
• Availability to work with students in the Pacific Time Zone during evenings and weekends
• Ability to build trust and rapport with students and their families
• Understanding of the college admissions process and the challenges faced by students and parents
• Interest in supporting students pursuing fields in business, STEM, or BSMD programs is a plus
