Job Summary
A company is looking for a Communications Officer to support communications, outreach, and marketing efforts for government-funded programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement a strategic communications plan for assigned programs and ensure timely execution of deliverables
- Develop content and provide impactful messaging for government programs communications deliverables
- Maintain project web pages, ensuring timely updates and alignment with program objectives
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations within the nonprofit sector
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Proficiency in digital tools, including social media platforms and content management systems
- Knowledge and experience in climate change, environmental justice, sustainability, and equity communications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
