Conventional Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Conventional Mortgage Underwriter (Full-Time) who will work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate automated underwriting findings and review collateral documents for accuracy
• Calculate and review the Net Tangible Benefit and ensure compliance with policies
• Communicate with relevant parties regarding loan status and outstanding requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in production underwriting
• Experience with Encompass software
• Solid knowledge of conventional and government underwriting guidelines
• Active underwriting experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans in the last 36 months
• Extensive knowledge of mortgage guidelines and compliance documentation
