Corporate Underwriter - Property
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Corporate Underwriter - Property to manage portfolio profitability and develop underwriting strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop underwriting approaches and guidelines for the assigned line of business
- Monitor underwriting performance and recommend improvements based on loss analysis
- Lead internal quality control processes and provide training to underwriting staff
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience (6-10 years) in a related field
- Preferred designations: AINS, AU, CPCU, ARM
- Significant independent judgment in underwriting decisions
- Experience in developing underwriting policies and standards
- Ability to engage with complex underwriting risks and pricing strategies
