CPA Licensed Accounting Director

Job Summary

Leading the accounting department, the full-time CPA Licensed Accounting Director will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of accounting processes in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures in compliance with GAAP
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred
• Seven plus years of progressive accounting experience with at least two years in a management role
• Experience managing month-end close and audit processes in multi-entity environments
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Sage Intacct and Guesty is a plus
