CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and hands-on Controller (Senior Director level) for a full-time remote position, this role will manage core accounting operations, SEC reporting, and internal controls while supporting the growth of a publicly traded pharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee core accounting operations and ensure compliance with SEC reporting and technical accounting standards
• Coordinate audits and maintain internal controls to support public company requirements
• Collaborate with executive leadership to scale finance and accounting infrastructure during a critical growth phase

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification is required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with senior leadership responsibilities
• Public company experience, including familiarity with GAAP, SEC reporting, and PCAOB audit requirements
• Life sciences industry experience is required, with a focus on commercial product environments
