CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

To support a growing portfolio of clients, the full-time salaried CPA Licensed Controller will manage client relationships, oversee financial reporting, and mentor accounting staff while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial contact for assigned clients, conducting regular meetings and providing financial insights
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and accuracy in financial statements
• Review the work of junior staff, providing mentorship and feedback to ensure quality standards are met

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a Controller or Senior Accountant role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients or projects simultaneously under firm deadlines
