Job Summary
A company is looking for a Credit Balance Resolution Representative responsible for managing credit balances and refund requests in healthcare accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve credit balances, undistributed payments, and refund requests by reviewing patient accounts
- Communicate with third-party payers and patients to facilitate prompt payment resolutions
- Analyze reimbursement issues and initiate refunds according to established procedures
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in healthcare customer service or insurance collections
- 1 year of experience with credit balances and underpayments for insurance and patient accounts
- Strong knowledge of computer billing systems
- Proficiency with MS Office
