Job Summary
A company is looking for a Customer Service Manager to oversee administrative operations and enhance patient support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify insurance status and update patient information
- Obtain pre-authorization for services and explain financial responsibilities to patients
- Review and process claims, including handling denials and collecting payments
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of customer/member service experience, preferably in a health plan
- Experience in provider relations and handling referrals
- Knowledge of claims and billing processes, including insurance verification
- Proficiency in general administrative skills, including Microsoft and Google Docs
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, including CPT codes and diagnoses
