Job Summary

A company is looking for a Customer Service Manager to oversee administrative operations and enhance patient support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify insurance status and update patient information
  • Obtain pre-authorization for services and explain financial responsibilities to patients
  • Review and process claims, including handling denials and collecting payments

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of customer/member service experience, preferably in a health plan
  • Experience in provider relations and handling referrals
  • Knowledge of claims and billing processes, including insurance verification
  • Proficiency in general administrative skills, including Microsoft and Google Docs
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, including CPT codes and diagnoses
