Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialty Testing Customer Service Support Representative to work from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle approximately 75 calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and insurance carriers
  • Assist clients and patients with inquiries related to insurance coverage, billing, and payment options
  • Document conversations and maintain accurate records in the billing system while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma required; associate degree or higher is preferred
  • 1-3 years of applicable experience in healthcare or customer service
  • Knowledge of medical billing practices and insurance explanations preferred
  • Experience with Laboratory Billing and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is desirable
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable
