Job Summary
A company is looking for a Data Ontologist to define, design, and implement metadata and data management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, design, and deliver ontologies, terminologies, and data models
- Implement and support metadata and data management solutions
- Collaborate with various scientific and technical teams to harmonize data
Required Qualifications:
- PhD degree in Life Sciences, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Understanding of data standards, semantics, and ontologies
- Familiarity with ontology management solutions
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with scripting languages and statistical software packages
