Data Scientist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Data Scientist will design, validate, and deploy algorithms and statistical models while analyzing membership, medical claims, and clinical data using SQL and Python to support strategic decisions and program performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop robust SQL queries and perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights from clinical and operational data
- Lead end-to-end analytical work, from understanding business needs to delivering actionable solutions using advanced statistical methods
- Work with structured and unstructured data to synthesize large datasets into strategic recommendations
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis
- Experience with A/B testing and causal inference methodologies
- Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in the Health & Life Sciences industry is preferred
