Data Scientist - Pricing

Job Summary

Joining the Data Science team, the full-time Data Scientist - Pricing will manage statistical analysis and modeling techniques to uncover actionable insights for pricing strategies, with the option to work remotely or from the office in Lititz, PA.

Key responsibilities

• Advising on analysis and modeling techniques to develop custom analytics models that drive value for customers
• Collaborating with analytics engineers to implement advanced statistical methodologies and optimize business performance
• Conducting exploratory analysis including hypothesis testing and statistical analysis to inform data-driven decisions

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data science focused on pricing and demand in ecommerce, retail, or foodservice
• Proven ability to build and analyze price response curves and inform pricing strategies
• Strong understanding of price elasticity, demand forecasting, and margin-volume trade-offs
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL
• Experience working with large SKU catalogs and complex, messy data
