Design Engineering Program Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Design Engineering Program Manager for a remote contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create guide sections, concept sheets, and high-level modularity for heavy truck interior projects
- Develop rough 3D data of components and maintain a list of open points and engineering statements
- Lead concept development activities with a focus on heavy trucks and utilize 3DX environment knowledge
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in feasibility studies and product development for heavy truck interiors
- Specific knowledge in heavy truck layout, manufacturing processes, and assembly technologies
- Proficiency in 3DX for CAD data construction and ability to prepare presentations with Microsoft Power Point
- Understanding of manufacturing and assembly technologies such as aluminum casting, steel stamping, welding, and injection molding
- Familiarity with package and ergonomics requirements, exterior performances, and homologation standards
