Developmental Editor/Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Developmental Editor/Writer (Contractor).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform developmental, line, copy editing, and proofreading for various materials to ensure clarity and accuracy
• Write marketing copy based on outlines and creative briefs provided by the Editorial team
• Organize and complete assignments to meet strict production deadlines with quick turnaround times

Required Qualifications

• BA/MA in journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of experience in writing and editing marketing materials
• Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style and/or AP Style
• Experience in social media content creation
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Google Workspace applications, Zoom, and Slack
