Director of Category Management
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Category Management - Integrated Lab Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and develop category strategy and performance
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers while overseeing the procurement process
- Develop pricing strategies and conduct market research to optimize revenue growth
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7-10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and/or pricing
- Experience in Life Sciences and sourcing for metrology and lab instrumentation
- Demonstrated success in negotiations and cost savings
- Experience in contract management and supplier relationship management
