Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Clean Energy to lead and execute a nationwide clean energy initiative focused on equitable implementation of federal laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for clean energy projects
• Engage with public agencies and community organizations to maximize federal clean energy funding impact
• Oversee a team of attorneys, providing legal guidance and support for clean energy initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Law degree (J.D.) with strong academic achievement
• 8+ years of experience in clean energy, environmental, or regulatory law, with at least 5 years in leadership
• Direct experience with the Inflation Reduction Act and clean energy tax credits
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively
• Commitment to advancing racial and environmental justice through legal strategies
