Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Cloud Engineering to lead their cloud architecture and engineering practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance
- Collaborate with Agile teams to streamline deployments and improve DevOps functions
- Build and mentor a team of cloud engineers and architects while guiding infrastructure improvements
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of software or systems engineering experience, including management of direct reports
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud services, specifically managing AWS infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience in performance development and mentoring within a technical field
