Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Cloud Engineering to lead its cloud engineering and architecture practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure while ensuring security and compliance
- Collaborate with Agile teams to enhance DevOps functions and streamline deployments
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of cloud engineers and architects
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of software or systems engineering experience, with management experience in a technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud services, specifically managing AWS infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with cloud-based CI/CD pipeline tools such as AWS CodeDeploy or Jenkins
