Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Data Platform Engineering to lead the operational management and architecture of their data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational management of various data platforms, ensuring high availability and performance
- Design and implement scalable data architectures to support growing data needs
- Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and database administrators
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in database management and architecture
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing technical teams
- Deep knowledge of Snowflake, MS SQL, Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data platforms
