Director of Federal Policy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Federal Policy to lead its federal policy vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the federal policy vision, strategy, and advocacy efforts within Congress and the Administration
• Develop and execute the organization's federal policy agenda across various health care issues
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with national stakeholders and represent the organization at key meetings

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of professional experience in federal health care policy
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and private health insurance programs, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Experience in legislative or executive branch roles, think tanks, or advocacy organizations
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Experience working independently in a collaborative environment with evolving priorities
