Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Global Employee Health and Safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive EH&S strategy aligned with company goals
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial EH&S regulations and standards
- Build and mentor a skilled EH&S team while fostering collaboration across departments
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Ten years of progressive leadership experience in EH&S roles, preferably in agriculture or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in relevant regulations, including Health and Safety Act and Environmental Protection Act
- Knowledge of ISO standards, particularly ISO14001 and ISO45001
- Relevant certifications such as CSP, CIH, or OHSA Certification are preferred
