Director of Software Engineering
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead data architecture and engineering strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and management of data engineering solutions, including document management systems and OCR technologies
- Build scalable data pipelines and ensure efficient data extraction and transformation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold data governance, compliance, and security best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering with strong leadership experience
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Kafka)
- Experience with OCR technologies and modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks)
- Solid experience in event-driven design paradigms and microservices-based applications
