Director of Tax Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Tax Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Payroll and Tax Compliance Subject Matter expert
• Lead and grow a team of operational specialists supporting Tax Operations, Film State Tax incentives, and State unemployment claim management
• Create and execute strategies to optimize state unemployment claims, improve tax filing processes, and support film state tax incentives

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience leading a payroll operations team
• 7+ years of experience leading payroll tax operations
• Strongly prefer PEO and/or EOR experience
• Production/Film industry payroll experience is a plus
• Tech Savvy individual with intermediate experience in G-suite and Excel
